At its fifth meeting, headed by His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Saqri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Tenders Board, the Tender Board awarded a number of projects and additional works complementary to development projects in various fields with a total value estimated at 111 million, 303 thousand and 924 Omani riyals.
The works that the Council agreed to assign and approve during its meeting included the supply of medicines, vaccines and serums to the Ministry of Health at a value of 52 million, 106 thousand and 855 Omani riyals, a project to establish the Central Public Health Laboratory at a value of 18 million 214 thousand and 697 Omani riyals, and a project to pave the (Harwaib-Mateen) road in the Dhofar Governorate. With a value of 17 million, 398 thousand and 334 Omani riyals.
The Council assigned the remaining works on the asphalt road (Mahalah - Ghubrat Al-Tam - Ismailia) in the Wilayat of Dima and Al-Ta'ayyin in the North Al-Sharqiyah Governorate at a value of 7 million 924 thousand and 3 Omani Riyals, and the replacement of old air conditioning equipment for the Ministry of Education schools at a value of 5 million 871 thousand and 600 Omani Riyals, and the remaining works of Al-Sabla link within the seventh package of the Batinah Expressway, worth 3 million, 661 thousand and 131 Omani riyals.
The Council agreed to assign a project to establish a link between Al Amerat Street and Al Joud Street (first phase) at a value of two million, 993 thousand and 256 Omani riyals, and a project for mini-certificates in advanced digital skills at a value of one million, 922 thousand and 500 Omani riyals. The assigned works also included technical infrastructure work for the “Invest in Oman” lounge project at a value of 777,267 Omani Riyals, providing maintenance services for Applied BioSystem devices located in various health institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health at a value of 240,367 Omani Rials, and renewing the lease contract for a complex building. Courts in Seeb in the amount of 193 thousand and 914 Omani riyals.
