At its second meeting of the year, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Tender Board, the Tender Board awarded a number of tenders and approved supplementary works for development projects across various sectors, with a total value of OMR 114,163,490.8.

The projects and contracts approved during the meeting included:

• The construction of the Mahout Fishing Port at a cost of OMR 36,995,421.4.
• The provision of catering, food, cleaning, laundry, and pest control services for hospitals, health complexes, and health centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health, valued at OMR 24,506,609.
• Completion of the remaining works on Al Batinah Expressway – Package 3, worth OMR 21,737,296.5.
• The design and construction of the Al Jabal Al Abyad Road in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, valued at OMR 13,500,143.8.
• The design and implementation of a project to improve the dual carriageway connecting Al Batinah Expressway with Sultan Qaboos Road in Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate, at a cost of OMR 8,249,537.4.

The approved works also included:

• A promotional campaign to showcase the Sultanate of Oman during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, valued at OMR 355,500.
• Provision of advanced support services from Microsoft, worth OMR 282,973.4.
• Purchase of the intellectual property rights for the Language Qualification and Development Skills Program, valued at OMR 127,500.
• Supplementary works for road projects in Dhofar Governorate, worth OMR 3,517,213.3.

The Board also approved additional works for:

• The tender for supplying, implementing, and operating the national infrastructure for authentication systems and electronic signature solutions, valued at OMR 2,104,009.9.
• Completion of supplementary works for Al Batinah Expressway – Package 5 (Sohar Gate Road), worth OMR 596,961.8.
• Additional consultancy services for the Logistics Market Study and Competitiveness Enhancement Project, valued at OMR 588,000.
• Additional consultancy services for the National Project and Government Procurement Management System (Takamul), worth OMR 501,799.2.
• Additional works under the cleaning services contract for administrative and school buildings under the Directorates General of Education in Dhofar Governorate, valued at OMR 443,251.

In addition, the Board approved:

• Additional works under the contract for leasing a warehouse for the strategic reserve stock of the Directorate General of Medical Supplies, valued at OMR 341,061.3.
• Additional works under the contract for providing operation and maintenance technicians for equipment at Al Masarra Hospital in Muscat Governorate, worth OMR 162,255.8.
• Additional works under the internal tender for leasing paper-pulling machines for school examinations for two academic years, valued at OMR 117,600.
• Additional consultancy services for the design of the dual carriageway on Al Ansab Road, from Falaj Al Sham Roundabout to Nizwa Road, valued at OMR 36,357.
