The Projects, Tenders, and Local Content Authority participated in the “Entrepreneurial Growth 2025” Forum, where it presented its efforts and programs aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and enhancing the national business environment through initiatives and enablers that contribute to achieving sustainable economic development and empowering the private sector to play its role as a key partner in the national economy.

During the forum, the Authority’s Takamul team delivered a comprehensive presentation on the National System for Managing Government Projects and Procurement (Takamul), presented by Engineer Badr Al-Maamari. The presentation highlighted the system’s strategic role in improving government spending efficiency, enhancing transparency, and achieving the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

The presentation covered the system’s main components, focusing on its national-level impact, mechanisms for improving government project management, and the development of the procurement framework. It also outlined the implementation plan for the system across government entities in carefully designed phases that align with the government’s digital transformation journey to achieve efficiency and sustainability in managing public resources.

Engineer Badr Al-Maamari emphasized that the Takamul national system represents a qualitative leap in government operations, enabling SMEs to participate more effectively in government projects and tenders through a more transparent and equitable work environment that supports local content and strengthens the competitiveness of the private sector.

Additionally, both the Company Registration Team and the National Office for Local Content participated in the forum, showcasing the Authority’s efforts to streamline registration procedures for SMEs, enhance their participation in government supply chains, and highlight policies and initiatives that promote local content. These initiatives aim to increase reliance on national products and services and empower Omani talent across various sectors.

The Authority affirmed that its participation in the forum aligns with its vision to strengthen integration between projects, tenders, and local content, and to enhance partnerships between government entities and entrepreneurs. This contributes to building a diversified and sustainable economy and embodies the goals of Oman Vision 2040 in empowering and supporting the growth of national enterprises.
