The Projects, Tenders, and Local Content Authority Enhances the Empowerment of Small and Medium Enterprises at the “Promising Opportunities Forum” in Al Dhahirah Governorate

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Al Dhahirah Governorate organized the Promising Opportunities 2025 Forum with wide participation from public and private institutions. The Public Authority for Projects, Tenders, and Local Content actively contributed to the forum through initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the governorate.

During the event, the Authority delivered specialized workshops on company registration and classification procedures, in addition to sessions that covered policies and circulars related to the announcement and awarding of tenders, as well as local content policies. These initiatives aim to familiarize SME owners with official procedures, enable their effective participation in government projects and tenders, and strengthen their competitiveness to benefit from investment opportunities in Al Dhahirah Governorate.

The initiatives also focused on introducing entrepreneurs to local content policies and their role in supporting national industries and creating job opportunities, while providing a platform for knowledge exchange between government entities and SMEs.

The Authority's participation comes as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance a fair and sustainable business environment, create real growth opportunities for SMEs, support the local economy, and contribute to achieving Oman Vision 2040 goals related to regional development, income diversification, and strengthening public–private partnerships.
